Drama Lead – Little Slippers
Location: The Kindle Centre, Belmont Road, Hereford, HR2 7JE
Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week
Rate: £18 per hour
Contract: Freelance, part-time
Are you passionate about drama, creativity and helping children find their confidence?
The Cracked Slipper Company is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and organised Drama Lead to lead our Little Slippers group for children aged 7–10.
Little Slippers is a fun, inclusive and accessible drama group where children can explore their creativity, develop new skills, make friends and have the opportunity to shine.
What will you be doing?
- • Leading and delivering engaging weekly drama sessions.
- • Encouraging children to explore creative writing, storytelling, improvisation and performance.
- • Developing creative projects, including live and filmed productions.
- • Helping children bring their own ideas to life and have a voice in the creative work.
- • Creating a safe, supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued.
We’re looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and confident in leading a group, with experience in drama, theatre, performing arts or a related creative discipline.
The role may have opportunities to develop over time, including additional groups, workshops, performances and creative projects, subject to funding.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake an appropriate DBS check and safeguarding training.
