The Hereford Civic Society is an independent local charity representing people who care about the City - we are the City's built environment forum who:-

Encourage high standards of architecture and town planning in Hereford

Stimulate public interest in, and care for the beauty, history and character of the area of the city and its surrounding

Encourage the preservation, development and improvement of features of general public amenity or historic interest pursues these ends by means of meetings, exhibitions, lectures, a quarterly magazine and promotion of schemes of benefit to the Hereford community.

The Society is concerned about all aspects of the built environment and the civil society which lives here; and liaises with Hereford City Council and Herefordshire Council on relevant matters.

The HCS reviews all planning applications within the City.

The HCS has a non-voting place on the City Council Planning Committee and we also submit our own comments via the excellent Herefordshire Council website.

In person or on-line we look forward to you joining us for our November talk. If coming to the Kindle Centre, we will be there from 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start.
