I am far from perfect. In fact, I like to think of my imperfections as friends, little reminders that we are all human! Yoga is my friend and I'd like to show others how it can be for them too. I used to be scared of yoga. I worried that it wouldn't be fast enough for me, or that I couldn't touch my toes, or that I wouldn't be as good as everyone else! All those thoughts were justified. But it turns out it didn't matter. And embracing those fears and imperfections helped me to grow emotionally and physically in a beautiful and empowering way.
Yoga is for everyone. It is.
You don't have to be flexible to practice yoga. You don't have to be a size 6. You don't have to be strong. You just have to show up on your mat, be kind to yourself, breathe and listen, as your body and your mind thank you!
Let's embrace our imperfections together in an accepting environment and enjoy a little fun and kindness while we do it!
